Logo design.

This site is primarily about logo design. You're thinking of those little pictures, right? That's just the beginning.
It's the follow-through with the presentation of the logo design that really makes a difference in creating a successful visual identity and lasting impression.
Where a logo is placed on an object is as powerful a statement as what the logo image looks like.
The choice of color, the accompanying type style and imagery all convey a message about who and what a company is.
It's significant that the image I use for my own logo design originally comes from a rubber stamp.
There's no pretensions here; this is a tool. It's a familiar image that suggests consistent reproduction and in fact, because I actually have rubber stamps, allows me to put my image all over everything ...with ease.
Logos are just little pictures until consistantly presented in a compelling manner.
In the end logo design is about much more than logo design. It's about follow-through. It's about creating a sense of cohesiveness that, over time, adds up to a vision greater than the sum of the parts.

It's my profession and what follows is a sense of the type of work I do and how I go about doing it.
