This was truly a great project.
To be presented with a name that demands to be drawn instead of typeset and then to have the concept fall right in line, well this is the kind of project I dream about ...I mean, everything was in place! A truly adventurious menu made it a challenge and a delight to come up with a graphic treatment to do the unique food items justice. Management was always willing; one promotion was ChaChaCha money, an altered Mexican peso note used for dollars off future purchases. For most patrons it made it a little easier to redeem than the typical dollar off coupon ...because it was pretty cool, really. The signage is reverse channel and neon. The effect is well worth the effort to get it approved by a city that thinks neon is probably "the devil's own work."
